Apostrophe - hardly used.

apostropheIt's been one of those weeks, hence the lack of posting. Normal service will be resumed soon, but in the meantime, this this should raise a smile.

Hopefully it won't be taken offline any time before the auction closes in the early hours of Sunday. (And thanks for sending us the link, Mary Parker.)

Apostrophe - hardly used.

One Apostrophe. Black. 12pt. (Times New Roman) The apostrophe is hardly used and still in near-mint condition. It's great for contractions or cases of possession. It comes with a full set of instructions for use (English language version only).

The apostrophe has been sadly neglected. Lots of people have tried to use it, but nobody has really got the knack. If you buy this one and use it, I guarantee you'll come back for more.

Does it come with an adaptor for comma usage?

I think that this advertising is a little misleading, though!

They are a dime a dozen; particularly in some supermarkets. I have seen them nestled amidst tomatoes and pumpkins, and even decorating some gateaux.

Look out LeafSalon… Spellnazi is a serious contender for the Best Wit Award for all things grammatical, a sphere of interest which may overlap yours. How about a guest column every now and then? Or has this topic been rooted, shot and left?

I'd love to find out more about Spellnazi, but there's no way of contacting him or her directly via TradeMe. But if anyone spots another Spellnazi auction, perhaps a colon ready for irrigation, do let us know.
