Bravado 5 is out now and includes the results of the 2nd Bravado International Poetry Competition. There's an insert with all the prizewinning poems, and a report from Alistair Paterson, editor of Poetry New Zealand.

The 5th issue introduces a new-look Bravado, thanks to funding from Creative New Zealand, with a change of format to quarto. Contributors include artist and poet Jan FitzGerald, Harvey Molloy, David Eggleton, Helen Bascand, Jill Chan, Martha Morseth and Basim Furat. Harvey McQueen has rounded up a baker’s dozen of poetry books for comment, there's a column from Bernard Gadd, and also overseas contributions from America and Canada.
