Paragraph: the write place

ParagraphNow here’s a brilliant idea. Paragraph is a ‘workspace for writers’ in New York, a place that feels more like a boutique hotel than a library. It’s a 2500 sq. ft. loft space divided into two areas — a writing room with 38 partitioned desks, and a kitchen and lounge area.

According to the founders, short story writers Lila Cecil and Joy Parisi,

Paragraph was created by writers for writers, with an understanding that writers work best in a quiet, comfortable space away from the hurry and obligation of urban life.

It’s a members-only organisation that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It's near Union Square and the damage is US$132 a month, which sounds quite reasonable to us.
