The magic of the number seven. What’s it all about? Port Chalmers Community Library (20 Beach Street, Port Chalmers) are about to find out. They’ve got seven poets doing their thing on the 7th April at 7pm. It’s a free event called ‘Sevenths’.
The poets are Rob Allan, Diane Brown, Kay McKenzie Cooke, David Eggleton, David Howard, Martha Morseth and Peter Olds.
Reminds me of sculptor Terry Stringer’s amazing garden and gallery, ‘Zealandia’, in Mahurangi, north of Auckland. They’re open seven hours a day, seven days a week, seven months of the year (October to April). And also well worth a look.
And if you’re in need of curing a ‘tertian fever’ by means of the number seven in Kabbalah magic, look no further.
