The very popular Waiariki Creative Writing weekend workshop has been expanded to a level four diploma programme, and it’s going to be available part-time, online, ‘in the privacy and comfort of your own home’.

The three tutors involved will be Bravado’s Jenny Argante and Sue Emm, and Kingi McKinnon. They will cover poetry, short story writing and personal and family history writing. Kingi will be lecturing on writing for young adults, and writing ‘in a Maori voice’. The diploma will also cover freelance journalism, editing and essay writing. The workshops will also be available online.
