The bestseller charts have just arrived, and things are moving around in the NZ Fiction list. The inevitable movie tie-in edition of In My Father's Den has taken the top spot, nudging Keri Hulme’s Stonefish down to #2. But the good news for Keri is that The Bone People has resurfaced at #4, and is probably winning a new audience off the back of Stonefish.
The Non-Fiction chart has several debuts. Sir Peter Blake: An Amazing Life by Alan Sefton has sailed into #1, knocking The Penguin History of New Zealand off its customary top spot.
Standing Tall: The Tawera Nikau Story by Richard Becht races into #3, followed by Father and Son: The Bob Kerridge Story by Dianne Haworth.
The remaining three new faces are Stop The Clock by Robyn Martin at #8, A Land Of Two Halves by Joe Bennett at #9, and Fat Man Cooks by Paul and Caroline Jeffreys at #10.
