Anne Fine, one of Britain’s most inventive and successful children’s writers, is visiting.
She’ll be ‘in conversation’ with author and radio commentator Kate De Goldi at 7pm in Wellington tomorrow (Wednesday), at Rutherford House.
Fine was Britain’s second Children's Laureate (succeeding Quentin Blake) and is twice winner of both the Carnegie Medal and Whitbread Children's Novel Award.
She’s also the author of Madame Doubtfire, inspiration for the hit movie Mrs Doubtfire, and has written five somewhat darker, critically acclaimed adult novels.
Want to catch her? Get your tickets on the door, or from the Children's Bookshop in Kilbirnie.
