If you want to attend the best creative writing course in the country you have just under a month to get your application in.

Victoria University’s MA in creative writing will be co-ordinated by Bill Manhire, who will have a stream of 10 poets and nonfiction-writers with him, and Damien Wilkins, who will be working 10 prose writers. There will also be a scriptwriting stream with Ken Duncum. Applications for these courses close on 1 November so best get a wriggle on.

There are also workshops in the first trimester in Children's Writing (with Kate De Goldi), Creative Nonfiction (with Harry Ricketts), and Short Fiction (with William Brandt). Applications for these close on 10 December 2004.
