A brief addendum to our Bloomsday article yesterday… according to the NZ Herald, the National Library has found a Kiwi link to the great man (James Joyce) in the form of his sister: Sister Mary Gertrude Joyce was a resident of Greymouth for most of her life, teaching piano and violin at the Convent of the Sisters of Mercy. Bless!
