Lopdell House Gallery, in West Auckland, is presenting two dramatic responses to Julia Morison’s exhibition no names for things no string for created and performed by Anna Smith and Helen Grant.
Anna Smith works for the English programme at the University of Canterbury where she teaches papers in Children’s Literature, Post-Colonial Literature, Theory and Drama. She is passionate about working on collaborative projects with women artists.
Titirangi-based performance artist Helen Grant recently completed her M.A in English Literature and Theatre Studies at the University of Auckland. Grant has an extensive background in improvisational theatre, drama teaching and performance poetry.
