jrosier-jones.jpgJoan Rosier-Jones will be running a Writers’ Workshop 'Away with Procrastination, on with the Story!' at Corban Estate Art Centre (CEAC), Waitakere City, on Saturday, 3 April 2004.

She will introduce new tools and methods of writing through practical exercises, and constructive feedback. This course will focus on family and local history stories and will be applicable to a variety of writing genres.

Ms Rosier-Jones has taught creative writing for over 15 years and is a successful novelist, playwright and non-fiction author. She is currently the National President of the New Zealand Society of Authors. Her non-fiction includes Writing Your Family History and So You Want to Write which "…sweeps mystique aside and covers the basics in a clear, logical order" —The Nelson Mail.
