Penguin NZ is bringing over Irish "chick lit" novelist Marian Keyes. She will be visiting Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch in March to promote her latest novel, The Other Side of the Story.

Keyes last visited New Zealand in 2001, and is the author of six novels: Watermelon, Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married, Rachel's Holiday, Last Chance Saloon, Sushi for Beginners and Angels. The books have sold well in New Zealand, with average sales per book exceeding 43,000 copies.

Keyes has also written Under the Duvet, a collection of journalism. Her latest novel is set in the world of publishing, and is about "love, loyalty, glass ceilings and survival tactics – and what to do when you get your chance for revenge".
