Familiar faces shuffled

Last Great AdventureVery little change in the latest bestseller lists, apart from a shuffling of the orders. In New Zealand Fiction for Adults, Sky Dancer drops from the top spot to #3, with The Scornful Moon sneaking up from #2 to #1. Sarah-Kate Lynch’s By Bread Alone jumps from #4 to #2.

The Penguin History of New Zealand, The Lord of the Rings Location Guidebook and Christian Cullen: Life on the Run retain the top three places in the New Zealand Non Fiction for Adults chart. The only new entrant is The Last Great Adventure of Sir Peter Blake by Peter Blake & Alan Sefton, creeping in at #10.

These were the best selling books in New Zealand for the four weeks ended 9 January 2004, and a pretty good indication of what Kiwis were buying for Christmas presents, or reading at the bach.
