The influential U.S. poet and essayist Mark Doty will be leading a one-day workshop on memoir writing in Wellington, on Monday 15 March 2004. The workshop is limited to ten participants and the cost is $100.

Doty is visiting New Zealand as part of the NZ Post Writers and Readers Week. He’s won many awards - including the National Book Critics Circle Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship - and is the only American poet to have won Britain's T.S. Eliot Prize.
