artco.jpgDon’t laugh, but Once Were Warriors is being turned into a musical. Tony Runacres (pictured left) and Jim Moriarty of Artco have commissioned a script by Riwia Brown, music by Richard Marrett and lyrics by Jamie Burgess.

The premiere is in Christchurch on 2 March 2004. The show will also play in Dunedin, Auckland and Wellington, with tickets available through Ticketek.
