New Zealand books from LeafSalon: Well-read and green
Well-read and green

rubfruthumb.jpgGood gardening books fly off bookshop shelves, but are rarely featured in the mainstream press. If you’ve got green fingers, you’ll be glad to know that the Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture has just updated its review pages.

They’ve been reorganised and enlarged with more than 70 reviews of horticultural books. These are reproduced from the annual journal of the RNZIH, Horticulture in New Zealand, and The New Zealand Garden Journal. There’s also a specialist section covering books on Hebes (the evergreen bushes sometimes known as Veronicas).
