Campbell Tool CompanyNow that the weather is getting warmer, we’re planting out the last of the tomatoes in our garden. And we’ve found that the best tools for the job are those from New Zealand’s own Campbell Tool Company of Karori, Wellington.

Their hand-crafted forks, trowels and strakers have comfortable Tawa hardwood handles, perfectly aligned to reduce stress on the wrist. And the metal parts are one-piece castings in high quality stainless steel.

You can order online: prices range from $40 for individual items, up to around $200 for a 4-piece gift pack in a wooden presentation box. There are many cheaper tools out there, but few better.
