Plumbly's of Dunedin has a Rare Book Auction coming up on Thursday 13 November. Many of the 526 lots focus on fauna, and the oldest volume dates back to 1871 (J.G. Keulemans' A Natural History of Cage Birds. Of particular interest to Kiwi ornithologists will be the two volumes of Walter Lawry Buller's A History of the Birds of New Zealand, published in 1888.
