New Zealand books from LeafSalon: Drawing a blank
Drawing a blank

moleskine.gifEuropeans attach a lot of romance to notebooks. At LeafSalon, we love the Moleskine range from Italian company Modo & Modo. The late Bruce Chatwin liked them too: he namechecked Moleskine in his 1988 travelogue, The Songlines. Each Moleskine has a rigid, oilcloth-bound moleskin cover, and the acid-free pages are thread-bound. They also have an elastic closure, and an expandable inner note holder made of cardboard and oilcloth. For New Zealand stockists, contact the distributor GCV Ventura.
