On the Saturday night the NZ Book Council hosts a FREE session at 7pm called "Foreign Territory" - writers Michael King, Jenny Bornholdt, Catherine Chidgey, Kapka Kassabova, James McNeish and Tina Shaw talk about how the experience of living away has impacted upon their work.
This could be your dessert after main course at one of Titirangi Village's cafes.
Follow that with a night cap at 8pm at Titirangi Theatre in Lopdell House - across the road from the festival venue - where Stuart Devenie performs in Tom Scott's "The Daylight Atheist".
A registration form is available on the website for all ticketed festival events including the Going West steam train adventure, or you can phone Barbara Cade at Waitakere City Council - (09) 836 8000 ext 8780.
